Enrolment

Parents have been given freedom regarding choice of school for their children. However, it is necessary for children to be registered at the school which serves their area. Thereafter, parents may, if they wish, make a placing request to have their child enrolled in a school elsewhere. Children who are due to start school in August, and who live in the catchment area, register here at some point during January. Details will be given in the school newsletter, school blog, church bulletin and local shops.

Information regarding parental rights will be given to parents on the registration days or by request at any other time.

At the time of registration parents are asked to bring their child’s Birth Certificate and Baptismal Certificate if appropriate.

Some children within the catchment area of St Augustine’s Primary School may qualify for school transport.

A programme of induction for new entrants and their parents takes place during May, to ensure a smooth transition to Primary One for all our children and to inform, advise and to involve parents in their child’s new school career and the community life of the school.

  1. Yes you can Lynsey, that is not a problem. Have you registered your daughter at the school? If not, please contact the school to make an appointment to get her registered this week.
