  • 12pm-12.45pm:  Early Lunchtime to accommodate theatre group visit.
  • 1.30pm-2.30pm:  M& M Theatre show – P1-7 pupils.
  • 2.30pm-3pm:  M&M Theatre Workshop – P6/7.
  • 3pm-4pm:  P5-7 Cross Country Running Club with Mr. Clark and Mrs. Scott (Outdoor Kit required).

  • NSPCC Workshops for P1-3 and P6-7 pupils today.

  • Our annual Health Week will take place from Monday 20th February.  Pupils are invited to wear casual, comfortable clothes appropriate for activity all week.

Monday 30th January 2017

  • The children in the nursery will be looking after ‘Living Eggs’ which will hopefully hatch into chickens while they are with us.  The eggs will be delivered today.
  • 10.45am-12.30pm:  Pupils in P4/5 and P5/6 will continue to work with Calderhead High Pupils on Special FX Make-up as part of our Art Focus Fortnight.
  • 11am-12pm:  P4/5 Badminton Session with NLC Coach (Week 2)

Tuesday 31st January 2017

  • 10am-10.30am:  Primary 5 Kodaly Music Lesson with Mrs. Wilkinson.
  • 3pm-4pm:  Primary 6/7 After-school nurture club with Mrs. Parker.  Pupils should be collected from the Main Entrance at 4pm.

  • Miss Wilson, Student Teacher, begins a six week placement in Primary 6/7 today.

  • 1.15pm-3pm:  Primary 1, 2 and 3 Christmas Party (all P3 pupils!)
    • Parents can join us from 2.15pm via the Main Entrance for a ‘Special Visitor’.

Tuesday 20th December 2016

  • Flu Immunisation:  Pupils in Primary 1 to 7 who have returned consent forms will have the Flu Immunisation spray administered today.
  • 10am:  Primary 5 Kodaly Music lesson with Mrs. Wilkinson.
  • 1.30pm-2pm:  Pupil Choir performing at Co-op Supermarket, Shotts.

  • 9.30am-10.30am:  Christmas Service in school hall.  Doors open at 9am.  Collection for St. Andrew’s Hospice.

Friday 23rd December 2016

  • Free Non-uniform Day (Christmas Jumper/Festive Sparkle theme).
  • 2.30pm  School Closes for Christmas Holidays.
Lunchtime will be as normal on the day of Christmas Parties. Any children going home for lunch that day should be collected from the pupil doors at 12.30pm. Upon return, they should enter via the Main Entrance by 1.15pm. Children may bring an outfit to school in the morning to change and will be assisted by school staff if required. Parents will be unable to come in to help children get ready for the party.

Christmas lunch will be served on Wednesday 14th December.  Pupil order forms should be handed in by Monday 12th December.  Alternately, pupils may bring a Packed Lunch or order a Snack2Go in the morning.

  • Pupils in Primary 1 to Primary 4 who have returned consent forms will have Fluoride Varnish applied today by the visiting Dental Team.
  • 3pm-4pm:  P1-3 Multi-Sports After School Club (PE and Water required).
  •  PLEASE NOTE ALL OTHER CLUBS HAVE FINISHED FOR THE TERM.
