  • May Day Bank holiday.  School and Nursery closed to all

Tuesday 2nd May 2017

  • 9am:  P7s depart for Kilbowie Outdoor Centre.  Please arrive at 8.30am via the Front Entrance.
  • 10am-10.30am:  P5 Kodaly Music lesson with Mrs. Wilkinson
  • 5pm:  Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Parker attending the NLC ‘Excellence and Equity Awards’.  We have been short-listed for an award for our Art Focus Fortnight/What My Mother Means to Me Nurture work.

Wednesday 3rd May 2017

  • 9.45am-10.15am:  Celebrating Success Assembly
  • 1.30pm-2pm: RME with Jonathan (P1/2 and P2/3)
  • 6pm-8pm:  Parent Council Meeting at Shotts EU Congregational Church (All parents/carers welcome to attend).

Thursday 4th May 2017

  • Inservice Day – School and Nursery closed to pupils.  Staff will be attending the NLC Learning Festival to take part in a range of workshops and seminars.

Friday 5th May 2017

  • 2pm-2.15pm:  Extra Playtime for pupils who achieve Silver or Gold this week.
  • 2.15pm-2.45pm:  Golden Time
  • Approx 2.30pm:  P7s arrive back from Kilbowie (parents will be informed by text message nearer the time).
  • 3pm-4pm:  P5-7 Football Training (PE Kit and water required).

  • 1.30pm-2.30pm:  P3/4 and P4/5 RME lesson with Jonathan.

Thursday 20th April 2017

  • 9am:  Mr. Kane, Brass Tutor working with pupils learning Brass instruments.
  • 9.30am-10.30am:  Seasons of Growth Parent Information Session for invited parents.
  • 10am-12pm:  P6/7 attending Shotts Rotary Club Quiz at St. Patrick’s Parish Centre.

Health Week

This week is Health and HeartStart Week.  Across the entire week, children will take part in a range of activities and lessons to promote healthy lifestyles.  Children may wear casual clothes suitable for physical activity for the entire week (on some occasions, activities will take place outdoors).

The timetable of activities for the week are below:

Family Fitness Fun

Parents/Carers are invited to come along with their child/children on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st Feb 2017 for a fun exercise class led by a “Cyber Coach”.  We hope to see as many parents as possible there.  (NB – After School Club is still available on Tuesday 21st – parents can decide which activity their child should attend).
