The new members of the JRSO attended the Kings Church in Motherwell this week, as part of the induction process. They had the opportunity to network with fellow JRSO members from surrounding schools in North Lanarkshire.

Freddy Teddy
Freddy had a wonderful week at Bethany’s house last week. He had a P.J. day on Saturday and Bethany’s Gran came over for a wee visit on Sunday.
Freddy came back with a shiny new Stane Primary School badge. Thank you so much to Bethany’s mum for making it. He looks so smart, just like his class mates.
The Adventures of Freddy the Teddy
Freddy the Teddy has been working hard in Primary 3. He has been helping the boys and girls write a recount of their week at school.
Freddy has also been having a lovely time at Demi’s house and has been to Lolly Pop Land. It sounds like lots of fun and has bouncy slides and a cafe!
The boys and girls can’t wait for Jake to tell them all about his adventure with Freddy.
Let’s go fly a kite!
The boys and girls in Primary 3 have been learning all about positive attitudes and being more mindful of what they can achieve, both as a group and individually.
They have been filling up their partner’s buckets by saying and doing nice things for them.
They also have been exploring how team building, playing and having fun together in the outdoor environment can impact on their well-being.
Here are some lovely photographs of the children making the most of the windy weather and flying their kite.
Flying High in Primary 3.
The boys and girls in Primary 3 got off to a flying start this week. They played lots of getting to know you games and introduced themselves to their new classmates.
Everyone created a colourful kite to represent their wonderful personalities, which I am also enjoying getting to know too.
We also have a new member of our class, who is a lost Teddy Bear. The children have kindly agreed to take him under their wing and Demi came up with the name Freddy the Teddy. Each week, a child will take Freddy home to live with them and write a short sentence about their daily adventures. The children and I will blog regularly to keep all of the parents and carers informed.
