The Ickabog

The entire world probably know this by now, but J.K. Rowling is releasing a new story.

You can also get your illustrations in the published version of the book. Take a look at the website.

Harry Potter: A History of Magic

“Because that’s what Hermione does,” said Ron, shrugging. “When in doubt, go to the library.”
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Not surprisingly, one of my favourite lines in Harry Potter 🙂

However, this time the Library is coming to you.  Harry Potter: A History of Magic was a 2017 exhibition at the British Library in London. It contained all sorts of ‘magical’ objects, bith from history and items created by J.K. Rowling.

You can now explore the exhibition online through Google Arts and Culture, including sections on magical beasts, Jim Kay’s artwork for the illustrated versions of the books, objects that you might find in various Hogwarts classes, and some modern Muggle magic.
