Cathedral Primary learner represents the school at GIRFEC Pupil Conference

One of our Primary 7 young learners represented the school at North Lanarkshire’s annual Pupil Conference on Wednesday 21st October, at Airdrie Town Hall.

This year’s conference celebrated the 20th anniversary of Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC), providing an important opportunity for young people to share their views on what GIRFEC means to them and contribute ideas on how wellbeing practice could continue to improve across North Lanarkshire over the next three years.

Our representative joined young people from across North Lanarkshire and representatives from the Scottish Government to share her perspective and contribute to important discussions about the wellbeing of children and young people.

At Cathedral Primary, the voice of every young learner matters. Participation in this conference provided a valuable opportunity for our young learner to share their views, contribute ideas and help shape future approaches to supporting children and young people across North Lanarkshire.
