Learning Walks in Brainbox Boulevard

On Tuesday 20th October, Mrs Duffy, Mrs Murphy and Mrs Tominey enjoyed a fabulous learning walk through Brainbox Boulevard, focusing on the quality of our learning environments and how effectively they support high-quality learning and teaching.

The learning walk provided an opportunity to explore our showcase walls, learning walls and Active Task Boards, observing the range of adult-led, adult-initiated and learner-led learning taking place across our Learning Streets. The team also engaged in discussions with our young learners about their Explore and Extend activities, with pupils enthusiastically sharing their learning, explaining their thinking and demonstrating their understanding.

Our learning walks are designed to capture the quality of our learning environments and celebrate how our spaces promote engagement, independence, challenge and creativity. It was a pleasure to see our young learners so keen to share their experiences and talk confidently about their learning.
