Junior Chaplains lead Cathedral learners in the Examen

The Examen is a prayer developed by St Ignatius Loyola and found in his Spiritual Exercises. Its purpose is to help us become aware of how God is at work in our lives and recognise where he has been present with us during the course of each day. Simply put, the Examen helps us to find God in all things, no matter how ordinary.

Junior Chaplains from our Ignite Team led classes across the school in the Examen on Friday 7th March and will continue to do so each Friday throughout Lent. The Ignite Team have also provided each class with a shorter, two minute, version of the Examen to pray with their teacher at the end of each day.
