Virtual Tours

Hi Boys and Girls,

During this time some museums are offering virtual tours which means we get to enjoy some of the best museums from the comfort of our own home. You may want to write down some of the things you see or what you have learned from visiting these museums or even create an information poster. Let me know what one you enjoyed the most!

Keeping Fit

Boys and Girls,

Remember when working at home it’s important to also have fun and keep yourself fit and healthy, especially in the nice weather we are having. Why don’t you try out this fitness challenge by spelling out your name? I’m sure some of your family could participate as well.

Welcome back Primary 1/2

Good morning boys and girls, I hope you are all safe and well and enjoying the lovely sunshine we have at the moment. I really wish we were together in our class sharing our holiday stories today. I am missing you all lots!
New learning grids will be posted shortly for you, remember you can also go back and finish activities from your previous packs. Check sumdog for new challenges too.
I would really love to hear from you and see some the activities you have been doing.
Stay safe and take care

Welcome back P7!

Good morning P7,

I really wish I was in class this morning hearing about how you are and what you have been up to during your Easter holidays. I am missing you all a lot! I hope you have been enjoying spending time with your family. I would love to hear how you are, feel free to reply any time in the comments with what you have been up to. I have been enjoying my daily exercise in the sun and because I have been really missing my football, like I am sure many of you have been, I have been practicing my keepy ups in the garden. Oh, and I also had 2 Smarties Easter eggs which were delicious!

I have made a new home learning pack for you which you will get later today, and I have also set a new Sumdog challenge for you this week. Are there any areas in particular you would like to work on in Sumdog? Let me know and I can try and incorporate that for you next time.

Each week as well as a new Sumdog challenge, I will post a new spelling challenge for you, here on GLOW. Look out for it! Here is the link to this week’s lists and challenge: Spelling lists 20:4:20 PDF

Last term we didn’t manage to finish our 1960s topic, so I thought I would post a link to a Beatles song which was released in 1967. Why not compare it to a music video that you currently enjoy and note down the differences. What do you notice about the fashion and the musical equipment of that time? It’s called All You Need Is Love and I hope you like it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_8_pbu_cNo

Please keep safe and keep in touch!

Welcome back Primary 3/4!

Good Morning boys and girls!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed eating lots of Easter Eggs. I have enjoyed my eggs too but unfortunately my little brother ate one of mine because he thought it was his! I hope you enjoyed the lovely weather we have been lucky to have recently too!

Your new Home Learning Pack will be posted today. I have set it out slightly differently to last time. You can complete some of these tasks more than once so take your time to look over them all! You will notice on one of the tasks it says look at this weeks phoneme and common words. I will be uploading all groups phoneme and common words weekly from now on so you have certain words to focus on each week. Remember these words are revision and we have covered them before. Have a look at this weeks spelling words by clicking the link below:

Weekly Spelling words 20.4.20

I have also set a new challenge for you on Sumdog this week all about Addition and Subtraction. You need to get 50 questions correct in your games to earn the coins!

I would love to see or hear how you are getting on. Remember you can add a comment by clicking on the speech bubble at the bottom of this post.

Missing you all, keep in touch and take care!
