I could see the determination, innovation and creativity that went into each cake. All the entries were put into a drawer and a winner was chosen, well done 🙂
This week your challenge is to draw a picture of our amazing school. It should include the school building and playground and you should take your time to make sure it is your very best work. Don’t worry if it seems too hard, be determined to succeed like Dexter! If you make a mistake, don’t panic! Be brave like Astrid and learn from it.
You can share your designs with me on Twitter @MossendPS using the #MPSMindset, post it your class Microsoft Team or even bring it into school (leaving it to quarantine for a couple of days in the office).
I can’t wait to see your designs. Practice makes Progress!

Comments Off on P1 Start Time – Effective 31st August 2020
Dear Parent/Carer,
Please see the changes to start arrangements from next Monday 31st August 2020.
Primary 1 families can now use the drop and go facility from 8:45am, however, this will only work if parents/carers drop their children and then leave the area immediately to avoid impeding the safe drop off of other children. The pavements are too narrow to wait.
There are staff in the playground to supervise the children until 9am, however, if you feel in your judgement as a parent/carer that your child will require you to be there or that they will be too distressed going into school then you should wait until 9am when the bell rings and then meet the class teacher to bring your child in. Parents/Carers are advised to wear a face-covering.
Children should not be dropped off any earlier than 8:45am as there are no staff in the playground to supervise.
You can use any gate to enter the playground and then children should make their way to their zone. Room 1 zone is zone 1 near to the girl’s toilets and Room 2 is zone 2 near to the boy’s toilet.
There are no changes to pick up arrangements, P1 children will continue to be dismissed at 2:50pm from their zone.
