If your child cannot attend school, then you should telephone the school office from 8:15am on the morning of the absence to notify the reason why. Absences that are not reported will be recorded as unauthorised.

Children who have vomited or experienced Diarrhea should not attend school for 48 hours from the last episode. 

As the parent/carer, you should assess your child and decide if they are fit to attend school. Where children have a runny nose, headache or aches then there is no reason why they cannot attend school if you feel they are able to, only the symptoms of coronavirus require the child to stay off.

If your child requires medication then this must be given to the school office and should not be kept in the child’s bag. You will be asked to fill in a form for administering medication. You can phone the school office to make arrangements to complete the necessary paperwork for this.

Please ensure that the school has your up to date contact numbers and next of kin contact numbers should we have to send a child home.
