We continue to strive to raise achievement by developing our SQA programmes. 

We offer Awards and Units from National 1 qualifications and tailor all qualifications towards life skills and life beyond school.

During the senior phase, pupils work on units from two themes: Developing Independence and Taking Part In The Community. Units covered by pupils  

include for example Having Your Say, Performing Arts, Healthy Eating, Personal Health, Community Activity, Enterprise and Fundraising.

Depending on the number of units covered in each of these themes, pupils can gain Bronze, Silver and Gold Personal Achievement Awards.

 The SQA accreditations are further indication that young people in Mavisbank are achieving progress in their learning in relevant and meaningful ways.
