Curriculum for Excellence is designed to provide a coherent, more flexible and enriched curriculum for all young people from 3 to 18

across Scotland. The curriculum includes the totality of experiences which are planned for children and young people through their education, wherever they are being educated.

 

This is the means to carrying out our duty as educators with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child at our core.

In particular:

Article 28: Right to Education,

Article 29: Right to the objectives of Education and

Article 41: Right to Higher National Standards.
