Mavisbank School

About Us

Mavisbank School is a non-denominational, co-educational local authority school catering for pupils who require complex additional support and may have significant medical needs. We are situated in the town of Airdrie and serve the whole of North Lanarkshire Council.  The school offers provision for children and young people aged from 12-18 years.  The current roll is 30.

Opened in 1982, the school has four classrooms which are bright and well-resourced with pupils having access to a multitude of sensory equipment and facilities including our extensive sensory and out door learning spaces.
