Another busy week behind us, with challenges and problems faced…but team work and solutions found! We are continually looking to develop our Core Values of Respect, Friendship, Trust, Honesty and Resilience in school. Of these, Resilience is probably one of the hardest to ‘teach’. Maths Week Scotland certainly caught the imagination of Kirkshaws learners this week. As well as all our regular Maths, we had a special focus on Symmetry over the past few days. I was very impressed with the symmetry in art, in lego, using 3D materials…the list goes on! From our youngest learners in the Nursery, through to Primary 7, I have been most impressed with the effort shown. Huge thank
