Home Learning tasks will be uploaded to our school app weekly, allowing parents and pupils to access learning opportunities planned by their teachers.

Our app is a free download, from Piota Schools. Please search for this in your usual App Store.

This app can be downloaded to your phone or tablet, allowing pupils to read the tasks and learning ideas from the screen.

We have listened to comments that some parents would rather have a printed copy to work from. Copies of weekly tasks will be added here to the school website, under each class, to allow the option of reading on a computer screen or printing a hard copy.

Before tackling any of these suggested learning tasks, please read the Next Steps detailed on your child’s Progress Report (issued 17th March 2020). This is your starting point for learning in the Spring Term.

Your child has been issued with log in details to GLOW, Sumdog and Active Learn.  In addition, if your child is in P.1-P.7, they will have a homework jotter.  You can use this jotter, but there will be no requirement for this work to be handed in at a later date.

We are working in partnership with our local KeyStore to ensure you do not run out of vital learning materials at this time. A supply of jotters and pencils are held behind the counter, available free to any Kirkshaws family who requests these.
