New Curriculum Rationale
All primary schools in Scotland base their teaching on the same national guidelines contained within A Curriculum for Excellence. However, each school must deliver a curriculum that is tailored to the social context where we find ourselves.
Over recent months, we have been indebted to our pupils, staff, parents and carers who provided us with answers to the questions: What makes Kirkshaws unique? and What do you want our school to be like?
Having collated all the information, we now have a new Curriculum Rationale Policy, which is summarised in an attractive poster you will be spotting around school in the near future.
