We will be starting up homework this week. We should have jotters by next week, but we are going to spend another week practising how to lay out jotters properly.
Reading
We are still in revision mode for a lot of children. If your child brings home a book that they have already read, this is the reason why. Please read with your child and talk to them about the story.
Spelling
There is built in revision in our spelling programme. Some of the class will move onto new phonemes at the end of this work, and other children will continue with consolidation of previous learning.
Please use the link to go on Educandy and then type in the code to find some revision work.

Numeracy and Maths
We have enjoyed using BBC Supermovers for revision. Here are some videos to enjoy at home.

Routines and Expectations
We are working on
- tidying up and looking after school resources
- lining up sensibly and quietly to go up the stairs to our class
- taking care of our own jumpers and school kit
- extending our concentration to support our learning
- healthy relationships with our peers and adults in school.
These are all essential life skills that should be worked on at home. Without these skills, children are not ready for learning in class.
