Jotter Work
Please write your phoneme words (x 2) one night and your common words (x2) another night. (Purple just split your words over two nights) Practise your spelling words every night. Homework should be done little and often – every night no more than 20 minutes a night.

Read your books aloud to someone at home, or even to a teddy. We use our reading books in class; if your child leaves their book at home, it impacts their learning in class.
Reading to your child is so important. You can read them harder books than they can so it’s a great way to share stories and start discussions!
Numeracy
We are coming to the end of our Time unit. Speak to your child about days of the week, months of the year, and telling time using analogue and digital clocks. Some of the Red Pentagons have found quarter past and quarter to particularly tricky so extra practice of this would help.
