Dear Parents and Carers,

Please find attached the Homework Grid for September. This includes both “Must Do” activities, as well as optional activities for your child to complete throughout the month.

Each week, your child will bring home  their reading books to support the development of their reading skills. They will also receive a word tin with phonemes and common words to practise at home.

Regular practice at home is extremely beneficial and helps children develop confidence in recognising and reading words and phonemes. We encourage you to spend a few minutes each day supporting your child with these activities, as this will help to reinforce their learning and support their progress in school.
