P4/5 were out in the garden today helping to get it back in shape for a new term.
This Week in P1
Maths
We had great fun learning all about the number 4. We used the iPads, Lego and paint. We also did a super job at helping Miss Scott to tidy up after all of our hard work.
Reading
We loved using finger torches during our reading lesson. We shone the light on the words as we read them and this helped us to follow the text.
PE
In PE we worked very hard to move our bodies in a controlled way through Bilateral Integration activities. We gently tapped our partner’s arms or legs and they had to lift the limb that was tapped. This is also helping us with our concentration and our ability to follow instructions.
P4 Potato, Courgette and Cheddar Soup
A group of children made a pot of fabulous soup in the learning kitchen this afternoon using the vegetables from our school garden. It was a great success and the rest of the class can’t wait to have a go at making it tomorrow!
Kilbowie 2017
There will be an information event held on Thursday 8 September from 5.00-5.30pm. Enter via the front door and make your way to the learning kitchen. Please add any questions that you may have by posting in the comments section.
