  • P1 Master Chefs!

Primary 1 had a super time making leek, potato and carrot soup. I was so impressed by how well they followed hygiene procedures and how safely they used kitchen equipment.

  • P5/6 Broad Bean and Lemon Hummus

We used some of our ingredients harvested from the school garden to make a delicious hummus dish. We grated lemon zest, and squeezed the juice. We used a food processor to create a smoother result. Everyone had a taste!

  • P5/6 Green-Fingered Gardeners

We had a great time with Paula, our Hidden Gardens expert today; we cleared some of the vegetable beds, tidied the polytunnel and picked some fresh plums from the fruit trees!

  • P4 Great Gardening

P4 went out to do some more work in the garden. Our runner beans, courgettes and cabbages are doing well and we planted out some tomato plants.

  • P4 Gardening

Some of the boys and girls helped to plant courgettes, cabbages and runner beans in our vegetable beds. We hope our crops are are good as last year!

  • Fairtrade Open Event 10/03/17

Some more snaps from the Fairtrade open event hosted by the talented Food and Fairtrade Leadership Group.

  • P4 Cranachan and Fish Paté

P4 had lots of fun this term cooking some healthy Scottish themed recipes in the learning kitchen. We have all tried new foods and are aware of the great health benefits of certain types of foods.
