Celebrating Success

We celebrated many achievements at today’s assembly. Well done to our dance troupe for getting to the grand finals of NLC dance competition. Congratulations to St Patrick’s, well deserved overall winners. Three  talented youngsters from P7 showed their Burn’s inspired art work that won them 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in our school competition. Miss Brunton, Miss Inglis and Miss Lalmy collected their bikability training certificates that allow them to run our after school bike ability club. Well done everyone!

P6 Area Final K’Nex Challenge

IMG_2337Our k’nex team excelled themselves today by completing a brief to create a crane that must hold three wheels.

They had already done exceptionally well by getting into the last 20 of 2642 entrants for the area final but have now surpassed this by being judged runners up today.

They will now participate in the West of Scotland Finals at Glasgow University on 10 June. Jack said that he was proud of his and Beth’s efforts. Beth was pleased to come second. Well done! We are all delighted with your success! Good luck on 10th June!

Official Play Park Opening on Kelvin Drive

4 April 2014

Pupils from Glenmanor and St Michael’s Primaries were invited to the official opening of the play park situated off Kelvin Drive behind our school. Our pupils did some planting then and the rest of the time was spent having fun, fun , fun trying out all the fabulous play park. Thanks to the play park committees from both schools for choosing such fantastic play equipment.

Thank you to our hard working Parent Councils who worked hard together to make this play park possible.
