HIGHER SPANISH IMMERSION DAY

This week saw the return of the very popular Higher Spanish Immersion Days to North Lanarkshire. 26 Greenfaulds pupils attended the afternoon session on Wednesday 16th November, held at Airdrie’s Excelsior football stadium, under the watchful eye of Robert Dalzell QIO and Jorge and his team from SALT Edinburgh. Pupils split into groups to complete 3 carousel-style activities focusing on different aspects of vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. They unanimously proclaimed that the card game Burro (Donkey) was their favourite! Feedback from pupils was very positive, with many commenting that they enjoyed the interactive nature of the activities as well as the chance to get to know Spanish Foreign Language Assistants from other schools. Muchas gracias SALT, y ¡hasta la próxima!
