Today is World Book Day. We are celebrating in class. We have all been given a £1 book token to spend on a new book. Please check your child’s bag/diary for these.
World Book Day is so important because it gets us to think about reading. We think the token is a good idea because if someone didn’t have a book they could go and buy one. World Book Day also gets us to go back and read some of our favourite books.
Today we have been thinking about our favourites and have shared them with the class.
