Today we finished off our Senses topic by exploring the story of ‘We’re Going On A Bear Hunt’.
We listened to the story and talked about the characters and what happens in it. We went on a bear hunt outside in the playground using our imaginations to go through long grass, the cold river, the squelchy mud, the dark forest, the storm and we even found a bear hiding in his cave.
To finish our day we worked in lots of our areas using our 5 senses to explore different parts of the story further. It has been a very exciting day in Primary 1a!
