Healthy Snacks

Primary 1 are enjoying health week so far.  Yesterday we walked our first daily mile and we made our own healthy snacks.  Today we were practising some athletics for our sports day races on Friday.  We think we are as fast as lightening!

We used pancakes, grapes, bananas, strawberries and yogurt to make ourselves a healthy snack.  Our snacks were a little bit funny.  Mrs Noble set us the challenge of making funny faces.  We found it a little hard to put the yogurt where we wanted it to go.  We think that it would have been a little easier to use a smaller spoon for the yogurt.

We used scales to make sure every group had the same amount of fruit so that it was fair.  We showed Mrs Noble how we could use our measuring skills to weigh the fruit.  We measured out 100 grams of each kind of fruit.

It was fun making our snacks but it was even more fun eating them!
