Yesterday in class Daryll made a jam sandwich! He wasn’t just hungry, it was so that we could see exactly what he did then we wrote the instructions for what he did.
when we write instructions we need to make sure we tell the reader exactly what to do. We use time words to tell them the order to do each instruction.
We are also always trying to remember our core targets; capital letters, finger spaces and full stops!
In P3/4 when we write we make sure we use punctuation, joining words and our writing has to be neat. We tried to think of time words:
Jocelyn – first and last
Matthew – fifth
Gregor – finally
Isla – second
Evan – After
Angus and Marty – Next
We think your sandwich looks delicious and fabulous
