Science Week in Primary 1

This week has been science week.  We have been learning about how to melt ice fast.  We now know that ice melts in the sun, on the radiator and on the window ledge.  It melts in these places because it is warm.  It melted fastest on the radiator because the radiator was the hottest.

Today we dressed up in a science theme.  There are lots of scientists and doctors here today.

This morning we saw a science show all about how food travels through

the body.  This is known as digestion (well remembered Hannah!)

We learned some tricky words like – oesophagus, canines, molars, incisors and intestines.

We had lots of fun this week.  Look at our photos.
