Today we planted potatoes. We planted them in bags of compost. The compost was mucky. Now we are going to put the potatoes outside in the garden so they can get some air, some sun and some rain. I think we will grow 40 potatoes.

It would be good to use a potato reciepe when they are fully grown.
How do you plant potatoes?
First of all you need some potatoes. You put them in soil and then you water them. After a while a green plant will grow out of the soil. It will grow leaves and then flowers. When the flowers die you can hunt in the soil for your potatoes.
Come and have a look at them if you want. They are beside the infants’ door.
