Super Symmetry in Primary 1

We have been learning about symmetry. we have talked
about it and we know that if a shape is symmetrical it is the same on one side as it is on the other.

Some shapes have one line of symmetry and some have more than one. Some shapes have no lines of symmetry at all.

You can use a mirror to check if a shape is symmetrical.

  1. You have learned a lot about symmetry. I know you are proud of your learning because a lot of you have shown me symmetrical items in your lunch boxes. Keep up with the good work.

  2. Mrs Rae was telling me how good you are at symmetry and your pictures look fantastic. Well done and keep working hard.

  3. Alot of great symmetry by the kids. Great pictures, keep up the good work kids. Especially proud of my wee Morgan, keep up the good hard effort. Well done all in P1, your mummys and daddys must be so proud.
