Mental Health Ambassadors Programme
The role of the Mental Health Ambassador (MHA) is to offer a listening ear to their school peers and to provide a bridge between pupils and trusted adults. As part of this, the MHA will deliver six sessions on mental health and wellbeing to S2 pupils in Braidhurst High School. The MHA will also have responsibility to challenge stigma and raise the profile of mental health within the school. The MHA will also offer weekly drop in sessions where young people can go to chat to the MHA or look at resources.
