Through S2 PHSE pupils will be working through the ASDAN Stepping Stones course.

What is it in a nutshell?

Key Steps is a comprehensive programme of activities in a range of topic areas covering Citizenship, PSHE, Environment Education, Personal Finance Education, Enterprise and Internationalism.

What are the Stepping Stones skills?

Key Steps challenges provide an excellent opportunity to develop the skills of:

• Teamwork
• Learning
• Coping with Problems
• Use of IT
• Use of English
• Use of Maths

What do the young people have to do?

You can gain up to 3 Key Steps certificates, meaning you could do 30, 60 or 90 hours of work in total.

• Once they have finished their challenges, completed the Summary of Achievement and their Personal Statement. This will show how they have developed their skills.
• Check their portfolio to make sure it includes all their evidence and recording documents then submit it to your teacher.
• Receive their certificates!
