Named Person:

Getting it right for every child (GIRFEC) provides a clear contact for parents, carers, children and young people to ask for advice or support. This contact is known as the named person. The named person helps coordinate support if it is needed. All children up to age 18 are entitled to a named person.

To ensure children are safe and protected from harm, implementing school/nursery and local authority policy and procedures.
