Zab a ding a doo in P2!!
Primary 2 have been learning all about the importance of Road Safety. We had a visit from a very special Alien yesterday Ziggy. We told Ziggy all about our topic and took him on a tour of Balmalloch Primary. It was so much fun! We also had road safety stations set up. These included traffic lights, a zebra crossing and road works. Next week we are going on an Environmental walk to consolidate all of our learning. We will remember to STOP, LOOK and LISTEN!!!!

Global Citizenship week
This week Balmalloch Primary have been discussing the importance of being good Global Citizens. Each class looked at different topics ranging from Health and wellbeing to Sustainability. The Global Citizenship Committee will be analysing all of the findings and deciding the areas that we will work on this school year.
Also this week the Global Citizenship Committee launched a litter campaign. “We are keen to stay green.” The aim is to ensure that our school playground is litter free.
Global Citizenship Committee
The Global Citizenship Committee met for the first time on Monday afternoon. Each committee member was chosen by their class. The Global Citizenship Committee will be looking at Rights Respecting, Eco and Global issues. The children worked really hard at their first meeting. The Nursery joined us too!
