After weeks of preparations, my primary two girls and boys did an excellent job and I am so proud of all of the extra work they have put in, it really paid off!

A special thank you for our brilliant audience, we know that some mums, dads, grandparents etc all had special time off to come and see our assembly and we hope you really enjoyed yourself.

This afternoon we had a little talk all about the assembly and here are some of our thoughts;

• We had a lot of fun
• We liked our assembly
• We enjoyed our assembly
• We were excited and we were nervous
• We were excited because our family was there
• We were so excited we nearly cried (happy tears!)
• We liked our songs
• We liked singing and applause
• It was the best assembly ever
• We liked our assembly because other people liked it
• We waved at our visitors
• The songs were really good
• Some people took pictures
• We had a good audience
• We liked reading our lines
• The parents enjoyed our assembly and they were proud

After our chat we had some treats together and got to watch our assembly all over again.

A final big thank you to parents and guardians for preparing the children for today, they were excellent. Have a wonderful, and well earned weekend!

Primary 2 are working so hard to perfect their assembly lines and songs. We have one last rehearsal tomorrow before our assembly on Friday. Wish us luck!

Thank you very much for all the harvest donations we have received so far, we look forward to donating them to the food bank on Friday.

We took part in some sponsored circuit training today with Commonwealth Judo Champion Kimberley Renicks. Kimberley also give a special talk all about her life as an athlete and her journey to winning gold, it was great!

Well done to all of the girls and boys for taking part and raising lots of money.

We are busy practising for our assembly and working hard. We have talked about some different things we can put on our blog and we are very excited! Come back soon and see our fun blog!
