The Parent Council held their AGM on Thursday, 8th March. It was a very successful night and here you can see the new Parent Council for the forthcoming year. Primary 2 have been learning about new massage techniques during their weekly Relax Kids sessions. They also practiced mindfulness to help their emotional wellbeing. Look how relaxed and engaged everyone is!
Yesterday, Primary 5 went on an educational excursion to New Lanark World Heritage Site. It was to enhance their interdisciplinary learning about life as a child two hundred years ago, compared to the rights of a child across the world now in the twenty-first century. Primary 3 rounded off our series of drama activities based on the traditional tale, The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We had fun reenacting the story in our groups wearing our masks we made.
Well done to our winning group from Aitkenhead Primary School. They invented a very interesting cartoon planet showing different cartoon characters. Excellent drawing skills boys and congratulations!
P7 Pupils were set a challenge by the Science and Maths departments of Uddingston Grammar School. They had to work in groups to design and create their own planet.
