The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark – P3

Over the last few weeks we have been reading The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark as our class novel. Lots of our literacy work in class has linked to this novel. In art, we’ve been creating an image of Plop sitting in a tree

Today we had the excitement of carving a pumpkin and writing instructions to tell others how to do it. We were trying very hard not to miss out any steps and write in time order. Every week we self or peer assess our writing to give ourselves both positive feedback and next steps to work on.  We are becoming much better at doing this. Great job primary 3!
