Numeracy in P3 Continued

We continued our learning of 2 and 3 digit numbers outdoors. We used PE equipment as our concrete materials. Hoops being the hundreds, cones being the tens and balls being the units. I wonder if you can use anything at home to make numbers with?

P3 Sea Life Centre

We had a lovely day visiting the Sea Life Centre at Loch Lomond. The children were thoroughly engaged and were asking lots of questions to the expert. What a great trip!

P3 Outdoor Learning

Primary 3 have been making the most of the lovely dry weather to be outside as much as we can. We took our learning in maths outside to create our fractions graffiti boards. Famous Scots in Primary 3

Today was the end of our Famous Scots Interdisciplinary Learning Topic. Each co-operative learning group presented their Powerpoint presentations on a Famous Scot of their choice. The Powerpoints were outstanding. Each group managed to include some facts, photos and even used creative transitions between slides. We discussed who our favourite Famous Scots were and how they affected our lives and lives of others. Well done everyone!
