The topic introduces S2 pupils to Japan’s Geographical location. The topic also looks at the impact of population on Japan’s largest city, Tokyo, and the problems people may face living in a city that is also a hazardous earthquake zone.
Pupils will discover the food Japanese people enjoy and the varied climate that they live in.
Earthquakes and their impact are a problem in Japan and pupils discover the devastating effects of the 2011 Japanese Tsunami.
