Today brought our financial education fortnight activities to a close with a fantastic display from pupils and staff at our showcase event.  We are very grateful to everyone who came along to see all our hard work and to learn something about finance.  I firmly believe that there has been some very powerful learning over the past 2 weeks which hopefully will have a lasting impact on our children for their futures.  Please ask your children about what they have learned.

Thanks also to all those who came along to Parents’ Evening yesterday.  We had a great turn out and it was pleasing to hear so many positive comments from parents regarding their child’s progress.  As always it is credit to the hard work of teachers and pupils in St Bernadette’s.

Today we had our last H Factor awards for this term.  The children should be very proud of their achievements.  Next week we will have a reward for all those who have behaved well and remained on green for the whole term.

Congratulations also to the many children who have received awards out of school for a range of activities including football, swimming, dancing, Tae Kwon Do and running.  I am very impressed with all our talented pupils.

Finally great credit goes to our cross country team who performed so well at the finals on Tuesday.  Our whole team did very well!
