Social Subjects Trip

Yesterday the Social Subjects Department took a group of students on a trip on an open bus tour of Glasgow.  Geography, History, the changing face of Glasgow and many more topics were discussed.  The pupils had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the new experiences.

Race for Life

52 “Cardy Crusaders” ran The Race for Life 5K yesterday and raised over £1000.  Pupils should hand their sponsor money in to Mrs Maxton as soon as possible, and, parents and staff it’s not too late to hand in money for the charity collection.

Two fabulous S3 girls finished the race in 25 minutes just behind our fastest teacher, Mrs Ferguson, who completed the 5K in 24 minutes.
