Mrs Callaghan and some very kind S2 girls are collecting money and baby goods to donate to this very important cause. This charity is run by volunteers and provides a vital service to families struggling to make ends meet. As you do your weekly shop this weekend perhaps you could buy and donate just one item to help ensure our North Lanarkshire babies get a good start in life.
Thank you in advance from S2 RE and Mrs Callaghan.
The new Games Design Club is so popular that it was a full class on day one. A fabulous addition to our busy programme of extra-curricular activities. The pupils are pictured working together to come up with ideas for a new game.
This week at Science Club – S1 pupils were making (and eating) homemade ice cream. The Senior Science Ambassadors are doing a great job promoting the Sciences to junior pupils, keep up the good work.
Mr McGrory’s S1 Science class were involved in an innovative way to revise key words for Science yesterday. Members of class 1C played “Photosynthesis Bingo” and from the photographs it can be seen that they really enjoyed themselves while learning at the same time.
The cost of the ceilidh is £10 and must be paid by this Friday January 8. The event will take place in St Bride’s Hall, Motherwell, beginning at 7.30 and finishing at 10pm. Please ensure your child has arranged their own transport home from this event. This is a well attended evening by both pupils and staff – wear your dancing shoes.
