Designed with teen learners in mind, this series of short talks will provide information on study skills and well being support for exams.

Do you have exams and assessments soon but don’t know where to start? Are you unsure of what study strategies best suit you? Maybe feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all?

If this sounds like you, please come along to a series of short talks I will be giving to help you answer all of these questions and more. There will be no pressure to participate – all that is required is something to take notes with, a respectful online presence and a willingness to learn something new.

Scottish Apprentice Week is just around the corner and we will be hosting a webinar with our Employers and Graduate Apprentices on Tuesday 8th March, 5.30pm to 6.30pm. In this short webinar, hosted by one of our Graduate Apprentices, we will explore 2022 opportunities in Software Engineering and find out what it is really like on the Graduate Apprentice programme – from those who are doing it.

  • Our employers will promote their current vacancies and provide advice on applying
  • Our Graduate Apprentices will share their personal experiences of being in the workplace and studying
  • The U of G team are on hand to answer questions.

Parents and carers can learn more about Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships on a free webinar later this month.

Careers Advisers from Skills Development Scotland will talk about the different apprenticeships that are available and how work-based learning can open the door to a wide range of careers. They will also be on hand to answer any questions that you may have about your young persons career development.
