Funtime Maths Roadshow

We ended our numeracy & maths week on a high when primary 3 – 7 enjoyed a visit from Stem Ambassadors, Mr & Mrs Lyden. They had great fun doing a wide variety of maths puzzles.

CFE Mathematics Experiences & Outcomes

P1/2 Block Printing

We enjoyed using  primary and secondary colours to create prints using polystyrene printing blocks.

I have the opportunity to choose and explore a range of media and technologies to create images and objects, discovering their effects and suitability for specific tasks.                                            EXA 1-02a

Homemade soup

P5/6/7 made some delicious soup with our home grown potatoes and turnips. All of our children enjoyed the tasting session.

When preparing and cooking a variety of foods, I am becoming aware of the journeys which foods make from source to consumer, their seasonality, their local availability and their sustainability.

Classroom Charters

As a Rights’ Respecting School it is important for us to know our rights in school and the actions we need to respect each other’s rights’.

Each class has created their own pledge.

I know that friendship, caring, sharing, fairness, equality and love are important in building positive relationships. As I develop and value relationships, I care and show respect for myself and others. HWB 0-05a / HWB 1-05a / HWB 2-05a

Baby Freya

We were delighted to announce in the August newsletter the arrival of Miss Smith’s beautiful baby girl during the summer break. Miss Smith is enjoying her maternity leave and has visited us in school with her baby girl, Freya. We are looking forward to her next visit to see how much she has grown.
