This week we are celebrating World Book Day, here we have a rap song from MC Grammar! How many books does he mention? What is the very last book he raps about? Did you enjoy the music, the animation? Are his words clear?  is your favourite book in the song?  Let me know all your thoughts and answers on your teams page! Enjoy 🙂

We Will Rock You Body Percussion this week … Try and stay in time, really listen and enjoy! Let me know on your teams page if you managed to perform this 🙂

Hello P5. This week we have 2 body percussion lessons. The xx in Happier are rests so remember and stay quiet with those parts.  These pieces can be quiet tricky as they are fast, so remember and count and maybe start off with just one part and then bring the other parts in.  Enjoy 🙂

Hello Primary 5.  This week we are celebrating The Chinese New Year and in music I have uploaded 2 videos.  One is learning and listening to instruments that are native to China, I would like to know if you have a favourite! The second video is The Dragon Dance which is performed for New Year.  Please tell me what you think is interesting about this, why do they use a dragon? Does the music match the movement and anything else you would like to comment on.  Remember and tag me on your team page when commenting 🙂

Hello P5!! This week is  SCOTLAND LOVES LANGUAGES week 🙂 We are celebrating the languages spoken in Scotland. We are focusing on Gaelic.

Here are 2 videos, both in the language of  Gaelic , listen and try and repeat, listen to the pronunciation. Talk to me on your teams page and let me know what you think, I love the instruments in the song from Brave.  🙂

Hi P5:) Here is a video of The  Scottish Symphony Orchestra playing music for an Eightsome Reel.  Hope you enjoy and I am going to ask questions on your teams page about this performance 🙂

Hello P5! Two videos this week. One is a body percussion song from a famous Scottish Song. The other is a performance of Amy MacDonald whilst the commonwealth games were on in Glasgow and you see many people of Glasgow performing with her. This is really a listening and discussion lesson, which you are so good at!  I love this performance but would like to know what everyone thinks, chat to me on your class teams page 🙂

Hope you enjoy 🙂

Hello P5! We are so good at our body percussion and here we have a Scottish song to practice.  Stay in time, count the beat and if possible instead of clap hands and snap fingers use pencils or anything you think at home makes a good percussion sound. Let me know how you get on in your class teams page 🙂
