Great Scottish Run

Thank you to Mr Cooper who participated in the above for the second year in a row to raise funds for the school.  This year he improved his time and managed to complete the run in 2 hours and 44 minutes.  The funds raised will go towards the purchase of a new minibus.  We have a very long way to go therefore it is vital that we have your support in helping us raise

What fun we had on Friday 23rd September.  Instead of wearing ‘Jeans’ for Genes, we decided to do the ice bucket challenge to raise money.  Mrs Bennett, Mr Law, Mrs Kelly and Mrs Gribben were put forward for a soaking.  All of our children and young people participated by helping to set up the activity, choosing who they wanted to soak and we even covered a little numeracy through filling the jugs very full!!!  Most of all we had the best of fun and we raised £80.
