K.F touched the button to make the Beebot go round the Isle of Struay.
G.F and J.T enjoyed being physically active during Rebound Therapy.
S.S and G.F got the Halloween preparations underway. S.S scraped out the pumpkin with J.T whilst G.F made spider biscuits for our party.
Jura class enjoyed learning about Harvest. They gathered food for the
Harvest Assembly, sang songs relating to Harvest and made their dough. Pupils learned a lot about where their food
comes from and enjoyed eating the delicious, hot bread they baked.
The pupils of Jura class enjoyed acting out a scene from,`Katy Morag Delivers the Mail ,
(Part of their Scottish themed topic) They were wonderful at sorting out the mix up Mrs Bennett
made earlier that morning.

Last week in Jura class, the children enjoyed participating in Scottish Games hosted
by Barry West. Each game focussed on hand-eye co-ordination skills and was enjoyed
by all.
The class enjoyed re-enacting a scene from,’ Katy Morag delivers the mail’, this involved splashing in puddles.
Our visit from Book Bag proved a huge hit with the children. Diane delivered great sensory stories about the beach
and the fairground that really got everyone experiencing the sights, sounds and smells involved.

Jura class have cast their votes for School Captain. Good luck to the candidates!
We have three new faces to welcome into Jura class this year. We now have Mrs Bennett, Mrs Wilson, Miss Boyd, JT, KF, SS and GF.
This week Mrs Bennett has eased us all gently back to school with a few days for everyone to settle back into school life. This morning (Friday) we had a short trip to Eglinton Park for our snack then came back to school to listen to the Marymass Folk Singer. In the afternoon we had, lunch, cycle track and golden time. Nice way to end the week.
Jura class enjoyed Summer sensory fun using water, sand, suncream
buckets and spades, bubbles and summer songs. We finished our Summer fun with delicious ice-cream cones.
Jura class enjoyed a fantastic outing to Culzean Castle.
The weather was glorious, perfect for outdoor play and well deserved ice-creams. 
The children enjoyed learning origami. They followed the steps and made their boats.
Jura class worked hard to prepare for the Garden Party, making hats, weeding, digging and planting.
We did not win but enjoyed watching our garden grow.
