we had a science fayre at school we did lots of experiments such as colour scented mixture where we mixed food colouring with baking soda and vinegar to make patterns we also had giant bubble experiment it was a great day.

we had a fantastic time at athletic trials at all ability cycle track Kilmarnock  we  met Gavin Drysdale who has several world records and gold medals he has travelled all over the world Gavin has cerebral palsy and uses a communication device.

We tried some different bikes at All Ability Cycles.

We enjoyed our last week of scouts sitting around the camp fire.

I got star of the week for being a confident individual by reminding everyone of the dance steps at Katy’s party.

               we had fun taking part in the whole school Holi celebrations.

     for learning for sustainability we filled all our feeders in the garden. we began to tie up our willow tunnel. We also checked our daffodil bulbs we planted in autumn to see how they were growing.

   Ryan got star pupil for being a confident individual and signing good morning independently at group time.

   we used ipad to take photos of our school life as we are working towards our next badge. we had a treasure hunt for st Patricks day.

 It was time to plant our potatoes into the bags this week. We also planting one in a bottle to watch it grow in class.

 Ruth showed us round Tesco we saw lots of things and tasted fruit and  cheese as part of Farm to Fork work.

This week we split into our groups the eagle troops we on a visual hunt and the wolf troops used the ipad to photograph their school life.

 Katy got star pupil for being a confident individual for getting ready independently to use the bike at Irvine royal academy fitness suite.

 Bute class had responsibility for leading a Fair Trade  assembly. Jack and Kieran welcomed everyone using switches. Katy showed us a hand of bananas then we watched a video of Pablo Banana to find out how buying  Fairtrade goods helps farmers all over the world. Peter and Ryan helped to take a basket of Fair Trade goods for everyone to look at, touch, smell and taste.

  We made another home for the wildlife in a different part of the garden.

 This week’s Holi activity was great fun! We explored lots of spices and made a chart to show which ones we liked/disliked.

 I got star of the week for being a responsible citizen and working with my class to pick up litter in the garden.

 At scouts this week we played games and chose our patrol. Kieran, Peter, Ryan, Jack and Darren are now in the Eagles Patrol. Rachael, Katy, Charlie and Joe are now in the Wolf Patrol.
