The sun shone again in Arran on us, how lucky are we!  As you can see from the photographs we have had yet another action packed fun day and I think one of the highlights was definetely the paddle in the burn running out to the sea.  There was lots of laugh and giggles and Ms Clark and Mrs Gribben enjoyed getting their feet wet too.  We have been on the go all day.  We wrote postcards this morning so hopefully they will arrive home before we do.  We then headed off to Kildonan in search of the seals.  The boys had great fun crawling along the grass being very quiet so as not to disturb the seals.  There were plenty to watch, some sunbathing and some swimming in the sea.  The walk along the beach was very peaceful.  Following this we headed to Machrie and sat on a pebbled beach to eat our packed lunch but it doesn’t end there.  We had a walk in a bluebell wood and then snack in Cafe thyme before heading back to the centre for a fabulous fish tea and chocolate cake.  Tonight we headed into lamlash, oops forgot the camera!  and had a lovely relaxing time interacting with our friends from Stanley Primary.  We are all worn out now so a quiet supper and off to bed.

  1. Absolutely love these pictures and hearing about all your adventures. Peter looks the picture of happiness and we couldn’t be any happier too. Good on the boys for keeping quiet when crawling, so as not to spook the seals…and well done to Miss Clark and Mrs Gribben for getting your feet wet…I can imagine the water was not very warm. Another beautiful day for you all…you really have taken the good weather with you. We are certainly looking forward to getting our postcard. Look forward to hearing what explorations you get up to tomorrow.
